Cabot Corporation to establish EMEA regional headquarters in the Greater Zurich Area

Cabot Corporation has announced the creation of regional headquarters for its Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) region in the Greater Zurich Area. The aim is to consolidate Cabot’s regional footprint in Europe, establishing a high performing team in Shaffhausen. The headquarters will house key regional business and functional leaders along with supply chain and finance teams allowing the company to drive performance improvement across all aspects of the business.

According to Nick Cross, Vice President and General Manager EMEA for Cabot Corporation, Schaffhausen was chosen based on its excellent logistics, efficiency of local services and access to a sound talent pool. The central location in Europe and overall quality of life of the Greater Zurich Area were also important factors in the decision.

Cabot’s new EMEA headquarters will take up operations during the first half of 2010.
